Accidental photos have won many awards.
Arouse governments at all levels to pay attention to rural education.
On the morning of September 30th, in an exclusive interview with reporters, Chen Yuqing recalled the shooting scene of that year. Chen Yuqing told reporters: "The photo was taken in the early spring of 2005, when he was still a propaganda officer of the Education Bureau of Qianyang County. On the night of taking the photo, he happened to see his primary school teacher Sun Ancheng sitting on the floor, burning a kang for boarders, and carefully correcting students’ homework. The fire in the kang hole reflected his vicissitudes of life and reflected the shabby school, allowing him to see a rural teacher’s education.
Chen Yuqing was moved by the scene in front of him. He immediately took out his camera and pressed the shutter with trembling hands to record this warm picture. Later, he published this photo entitled "Rural Primary School" and "Love in the Deep Mountains" in many media, such as Xi ‘an Evening News. Because of its outstanding theme and close connection with the ongoing reform of rural compulsory education guarantee mechanism at that time, it had a great response after publication, which triggered great concern of governments at all levels for rural education. In 2006, the central and provincial governments increased their investment in education in Qianyang County, and the Pushe Primary School where Teacher Sun Ancheng was located quickly moved into a new school with brick-concrete structure. The dormitory of the new boarding school was also equipped with heating and cribs.
"This photo has won many awards in national and provincial photography exhibitions, and has been selected in the 40th anniversary achievement exhibition of Shaanxi’s reform and opening up, so it can be selected ‘ Great course, brilliant achievements, large-scale achievement exhibition to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of People’s Republic of China (PRC) ’ It is really an honor. " Chen Yuqing said.

At that time, the school teaching and living conditions were particularly difficult.
Great changes have taken place now.
"Mr. Sun has been teaching in mountain villages since he joined the education work in 1976. He was transferred to the county school in 2014 and retired gloriously in 2017. He has won many honorary titles such as an advanced individual in Shaanxi Province and a moral model of dedication and dedication in Shaanxi Province." Chen Yuqing told reporters.
After 14 years, what changes have taken place in the location of this photo? With questions, the reporter rushed to the former site of Pushe Primary School in Gaoya Town, Qianyang County. Sun Ancheng, the protagonist in the photo, told the reporter that the teaching and living conditions of this school were particularly difficult at that time. Get up in the morning, the teacher will take the children down the ditch to carry water; After school in the afternoon, the teacher will take the children up the mountain to pick up firewood; In the evening, the teacher is also responsible for burning kang for the children. "There are more than 60 students involved, four heatable adobe sleeping platform in one room, and a heatable adobe sleeping platform for more than a dozen students." Sun An Cheng said that in 2007, Qianyang County took advantage of the opportunity of withdrawing villages and merging towns to build a new Pushe primary school on the site of the abolished Pushe township government, and the conditions of the school were much better than before.
Sun Ancheng told reporters: "Now the school is burning heating, scaffolding, there are special chefs to cook for students, the draft is tap water, and computers have become popular. In recent years, with the advancement of the resettlement project, more and more people in mountainous areas have moved to the county seat, and there are only 13 students left in Pushe Primary School. Other students have chosen to attend the newly-built Yanji Primary School in the county seat. "
At the time of press release, the reporter learned from the local education department that there are more than 2,400 students in Yanji Primary School in Qianyang County, of which more than 90% are from mountainous areas. With the continuous increase of state investment in education, Qianyang County has become a strong education county in our province and a county with basically balanced development of compulsory education in China.
