Wang Xiuying, an octogenarian in Mazhuang Village, is one of the inheritors of Xuzhou Xiangbao, a national intangible cultural heritage. In 2017, General Secretary of the Supreme Leader visited Wang Xiuying Xiangbao Studio in Mazhuang Village, praised Mazhuang Xiangbao again and again, and spent 30 yuan money to buy a traditional Chinese medicine Xiangbao made by Wang Xiuying. The praise of the General Secretary ignited the passion of the elderly in Wang Xiuying to make the sachet industry bigger, and also knocked on the door of Mazhuang sachet industrialization.
Nowadays, the Mazhuang sachet culture compound, covering an area of 2,000 square meters, has been completed, integrating the functions of sachet production, exhibition and sales. At the same time, Mazhuang Village cooperated with industry-leading operation and transformation companies to set up Mazhuang sachet operation team, opened Tik Tok e-commerce platform, newly developed more than 80 kinds of functional sachets and featured cultural and creative products, and researched and prepared 16 Chinese medicine formulas.
Xia Guimei, a 65-year-old villager in Mazhuang Village, was originally engaged in cleaning work in the street. Seven years ago, she also joined the team making sachets. From the beginning, she could do nothing. Up to now, she can make 20 to 30 sachets a day, earning more than 2,000 yuan a month. "Now sachet has become our pillar industry, not only with more pieces, but also with good benefits. Humanized management does not affect home work and picking up children." Speaking of her present job, Xia Guimei is very satisfied.
It is understood that since the industrialization of sachets, its annual output value has reached 8 million yuan, directly creating nearly 400 jobs, and more and more people have gained "great benefits" through "small sachets".
