At present, among the 33 large reservoirs in mountainous areas in the basin, six reservoirs, including Miyun Reservoir in the North Sanhe system, hold 3.48 billion cubic meters of water; Three reservoirs, including Guanting Reservoir of Yongding River Department, store 620 million cubic meters of water; Six reservoirs, such as Wangkuai Reservoir and Xidayang Reservoir, of Daqing River Department, store 1.52 billion cubic meters of water; Five reservoirs, including Gangnan Reservoir and Huangbizhuang Reservoir of Ziya River, have a storage capacity of 1.60 billion cubic meters. Six reservoirs, including Yuecheng Reservoir and Panshitou Reservoir, in Zhangwei River Department store 880 million cubic meters of water. Seven reservoirs in Luanhe River system, including Panjiakou Reservoir and Daheiting Reservoir, hold 2.12 billion cubic meters of water. Baiyangdian in the basin has a water storage capacity of 330 million cubic meters, and some large reservoirs in the plains such as Dalangdian, Hengshui Lake and Tuanbowa have a water storage capacity of over 280 million cubic meters.
