In recent years, more and more smugglers and drug traffickers link up through the Internet, release drug-related information through online platforms, communicate with internet social software groups, pay drug money online by means of virtual currency, and deliver drugs by mail or express mail. In view of the characteristics of strong concealment and prominent gangs in smuggling and selling new drugs, the customs anti-smuggling department organized cluster strikes and special strikes in time according to the staged drug situation, and the action achieved outstanding results. γ -Hydroxybutyric acid, commonly known as "fairy water" and "obedient water", has a strong inhibitory effect on the central nervous system. Up to now, the parties to the special operation have seized 1.48 tons of ice, 361 kilograms of marijuana and 19.3 kilograms of cocaine, of which the Shenzhen Customs Anti-smuggling Bureau seized 564.8 kilograms of ice.
In terms of international cooperation, we took the initiative to integrate into the overall situation of international drug control and launched the fourth phase of "Meilong" international joint law enforcement action in the Asia-Pacific region. In 2022, through the cooperation between China Customs and overseas law enforcement agencies, overseas law enforcement agencies seized 146 kilograms of drugs and arrested 21 suspects, demonstrating China’s responsibility as a responsible big country.
Consolidate the foundation and improve the efficiency of anti-drug work

From the perspective of smuggling channels, postal, express mail, freight and other channels have been seized, among which the risk of delivery channel is the most prominent, and foreign drugs enter the country in small quantities, many times and scattered through international parcels. In addition, bulk drug smuggling occurs from time to time in the freight channel, mainly because drugs from the "Golden Triangle" in the southwest border are smuggled into China through land ports, and cocaine from South America is smuggled by sea to our coastal areas for transshipment and distribution.
In terms of smuggling methods, drug traffickers mostly use the methods of separating money from drugs and separating people, and the smuggling and drug trafficking methods of "internet plus logistics delivery", and the way of linking has developed from mass chat tools to minority social tools or even dark networks; The circulation of drug money has expanded from internet payment to virtual currency; The way of drug possession has evolved from simple camouflage to professional camouflage.
"Judging from the types of drugs seized, γ -The seizure of new drugs such as hydroxybutyric acid, triazolam and synthetic cannabinoids has increased, and the abuse of such drugs after entry is extremely harmful. " According to Sun Zhijie’s analysis, the variety of drugs seized at the port is closely related to drug abuse in China. According to the Report on Drug Situation in China in 2022, the consumption of common drugs with a large number of abusers such as heroin and ice has generally declined, while the number of people who investigate and punish the abuse of new psychoactive substances such as synthetic cannabinoids has increased throughout the year. "In order to prevent and control the smuggling of new drugs, the national customs carried out joint risk judgment, timely assessed the risk situation of new drug smuggling at ports, and strengthened the application of scientific and technological equipment." Xia Jun said that the Customs strengthened the manual mapping analysis of new drugs through 3D imaging, slicing focusing and multi-angle mapping, and used Raman spectrum detector or drug rapid detection board to screen unknown powders, crystals and suspected drugs, so as to timely check and control new drugs hidden and disguised, and crack down on new drug smuggling.
The national customs anti-smuggling department strengthens the research on anti-drug warfare, collects typical cases seized at various ports, summarizes new laws and characteristics in time, and puts forward new measures and tactics in a targeted manner.
