  In the early 1980s, the indicators of Jiefang brand cars were obviously lagging behind. In three years, more than 20,000 sets of process equipment were updated, and 79 new production lines were built. FAW withstood huge pressure and completed the replacement and production without stopping production or reducing revenue, realizing the "second business".

  The reform and opening up quickly opened up the automobile market.
