Driver: "Ferryman" in the dark

After delivering the customer to the designated location very late, returning home is often not an easy task for the driver.

"Driver!" Seeing a female car leader/follower walk out of a seafood restaurant in Huizhou, the driver, Forrest Gump, pushed his folding electric car and followed the guest to the parking lot in small steps.

After 8:30 pm, the dinner at the hotel ended one after another, and the driver entered the peak period of receiving orders. That day, Forrest Gump waited outside the restaurant for more than two hours before finally receiving the first business. From Huicheng District Sanhuan South Road to Jiangbei District, about 10 kilometers away, the driver costs 46 yuan, which is almost twice the fare of a taxi.

Along the way, the female car owners complained about the high fees for chauffeur driving, and she felt that it was more reasonable to refer to the taxi fare standard. As a woman, she has more concerns about this kind of service, which is mostly used at night and after drinking, and the standardization of the industry is also the demand of most chauffeur customers.

Forrest Gump, 31, is noncommittal. He has been working full-time as a chauffeur for three years, and he only feels that money is getting harder and harder to make. Although the cake is getting bigger and bigger, there are more chauffeurs, and everyone gets less and less. This means he has to spend more time working to maintain his income. Now he works about 11 hours a day, and can only take four or five orders at most, earning an average of about 200 yuan a day.

According to the "2018 Entertainment Index Report" released by the National Big Data Research Center of a generation driving platform, last year, the number of times that the national generation driving was used reached 267 million times. According to analysts’ estimates, the output value of the national network generation driving exceeded 10 billion yuan. Some industry insiders said that, unlike first-tier cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen, Huizhou has a large gap between the demand for generation driving and the population, and there is still a large space for expansion of the driver market.

As with the development of many new Internet formats, as competition intensifies, labor costs will decrease accordingly. This can be seen in groups such as express drivers, takeaways, couriers, etc., and now the Huizhou driver market is showing the same trend. In order to make a living, driver drivers wait patiently in countless dark nights, or struggle to change.

  wait

Outside a large bar, where neon lights flicker on the facade of Huizhou’s famous nightclub, more than a dozen chauffeurs sit scattered on one side of the parking lot, their bodies swaying in colorful colors against the light.

Every night at about 9 o’clock, Forrest Gump will "report" here after delivering an order at the seafood restaurant. Compared with the system sending an order, Forrest Gump is more willing to wait for the order directly, because "the proportion of the system single platform is 5% higher than the order". Moreover, as a small driving platform adopts a low-price strategy to attract many customers, the system order volume of Forrest Gump’s mainstream driving platform is affected.

In the driving market, there were "many monks and few porridge". In the past, drivers could receive orders even when they sat at home, but now they may not have orders when they wait outside the restaurant. If they could receive an order every two hours, it would be considered "a lot of results".

Waiting is a compulsory course for every driver.

Forrest Gump has his own pastime, and he enjoys the freedom of this profession to a certain extent. In the driving line, the morning game is before 10 pm, and the night game is after the early morning. In the morning game, outside the seafood restaurant, Forrest Gump will play a few games of billiards with the "driving brothers" every day to kill time. The cost of venue rental, plus the money for buying cold drinks, Forrest Gump spent more than ten yuan before opening.

At night time, Forrest Gump will move to the vicinity of the bar. At this time, Forrest Gump and other chauffeurs always have a lot of excitement. Young people who dress up fashionably come in and out, and when people are drunk, they will inevitably stage a farce. Late at night on August 5, the traffic police routinely checked drunk driving on the nearby road. A young man was investigated for driving after drinking and fled back to the bar for fear of being punished. The traffic police chased all the way in.

The chauffeur who was waiting on the side began to discuss: "Alas, this kind of thing happens often…" "I know this person, he is a friend of the driver of XX, and I have sent him before." "Why bother? Why drive after drinking?" "If the traffic police were there to check drunk driving every day, our business would be good."

Forrest Gump doesn’t like Douyin. Most of the time, he gathers with other drivers to blow water and chat. From the anecdotes of driving to the trivia of life, there seems to be an endless amount of things to say. This time of talking about the mountains is particularly rare for Ah Fatty, who is facing a midlife crisis. "I can briefly forget the pressure of life," he said.

Fatty is over 40 years old and has two children, one in primary school and the other in junior high school. Because his household registration is not in Huizhou, his child’s choice of school brings him a lot of financial pressure. Unlike Forrest Gump, in order to save 10 yuan a day on mineral water expenses, he will specially bring a bottle of chilled water from home, wrap it in a white plastic bag and put it in his backpack. He always calculates the drink bit by bit, trying not to spend money on water.

Fatty decided to work at night as a full-time chauffeur to accompany his children as they grew up. During the day, when his wife went to work, he was responsible for preparing meals for the children and taking them to and from school. Due to lack of rest, when waiting for orders outside the bar, Fatty always slept first. He sat on a small plastic bench with his eyes closed, leaning against the stone pier next to him, holding his bag in his arms.

Sometimes the wait is a long intermission; sometimes the wait is fruitless. Mingge, who is in his 50s, waits for orders every day outside a hotel near his home. One day earlier this month, he didn’t receive an order until midnight. Anxious, he rode his electric bike around the parking lot. "Boss, do you want to drive?" Whenever a guest came out of the hotel, he would approach and ask.

It was raining late in the morning, and he did not receive any orders. The rain got heavier and heavier, and Brother Ming moved the electric car to the hotel porch. He carefully wiped the rain off the car and waited for his son to drive him home.

  livelihood

"Hello, × × driving. May I ask where you are? Okay, wait a moment, I’ll be there right away." At 11:40 pm, A Bin, speaking with a Henan accent, received a system dispatch.

This order had to go from Maidi in Huicheng District to Daya Bay, and he didn’t return to the city until about 2 am the next day. He didn’t finish work and go home, but went to the hotel where the night show was waiting for the order, and just happened to receive another close order. At that time, there were no other chauffeurs waiting for the order outside the hotel.

Abin is the older driver who often waits for orders outside the hotel. He just turned 50 this year and has been a full-time driver in Huizhou for four years. About five years ago, Abin’s business in his hometown failed. He traveled more than 1,500 kilometers south and planned to go to Huizhou to fight again.

"When you have money, other people are always the first and last." A Bin felt that this society was very realistic, and he wanted to escape the past environment and familiar eyes and start over. After settling down in Huizhou, A Bin worked in the wine business and was cheated of tens of thousands of yuan. He worked as a security guard, but his monthly income of more than 2,000 yuan could not support himself at all.

I heard that the income of the driver is considerable, and he has never stayed overnight in the past. He works the night shift. Abin leaves the house at 6 pm every day, finishes work around 3 am, and takes two or three days of proper rest a month, earning more than 6,000 yuan. Excluding daily expenses such as rent, he can also save two or three thousand yuan a month. "I have a son and a daughter, and my daughter is married. I want to plan for my son to get married now," Abin said.

As Ah Bin slowly got older, he could clearly feel the impact of staying up late for a long time. "In recent years, my hair has obviously turned a lot whiter, and my body has become weaker than before." Even so, he can only make money like this. "I’m so old, and I don’t have any skills, so it’s hard to find a job that is comparable to the income of driving."

The low barrier to entry is an important reason for attracting many full-time chauffeurs. Ah Shu is a "post-90s generation" with five brothers and sisters. Because his family conditions did not allow it, he dropped out of primary school before finishing primary school. At the age of 15, Ah Shu left his hometown Chaoshan and traveled to various parts of the Pearl River Delta to work. It was not until 2012 that he married a Huizhou girl that he stabilized. Ah Shu is the only source of income for the family, but he "has neither education nor skills", so he had to find a way out.

Among the group of chauffeurs, a large part-time drivers are part-time drivers. They are more interested in the freedom of chauffeur time and can also subsidize their family. Li Dawei came to Huizhou from Shanxi to work hard. Now he is the owner of a small IT company and started working part-time as a chauffeur during the Spring Festival this year. "I am idle at night. It is better to come out and work part-time to subsidize my family."

In early August, Li Dawei had just handed over the house he bought in Zhongkai, and he had to pay off the mortgage of more than 3,000 yuan per month. He hoped to use the income from part-time driving to pay for this expenditure. Li Dawei would finish work at 1 am when he took orders, and usually woke up at 8:30 in the morning. His energy during the day was obviously not as good as in the past.

Sometimes, Li Dawei also entertained customers at night, and would also ask for a chauffeur after drinking. After experiencing the change of identity, when he was a chauffeur, not only did he not have a sense of difference, but he was more understanding and understanding. "Everyone drinks differently, and some people can’t control their emotions after drinking, and it is inevitable that their attitude will be bad."

However, most chauffeurs have to experience initial discomfort to "ignore" the rudeness of some drunk customers. This is the case with Forrest Gump. If he hadn’t been struggling in society after graduating from high school, if his wife hadn’t been pregnant at the time, he felt that he might not have been able to hold on.

When he first worked as a substitute driver, Forrest Gump was very nervous and just happened to bump into a new car. "He braked suddenly as soon as he stepped on it, and the customer scolded him three or four times in a row." In the first half of the year, if he was really angry, he would retort a few words.

As a driver, Forrest Gump also wants to be understood and respected. He is tired of always wrangling with customers for detours or not, and he is tired of being worried about not getting the money he deserves. Forrest Gump said that once, the customer said a lot of compassionate words to him, and he was very touched and insisted on forfeiting the driver’s fee.

  Way Back

The night and the alcohol did not warm up the feelings between the driver and the passengers. No matter what they saw or heard, the memory of the passers-by would soon be put on the shelf. The driver was the "ferryman" in the city at night. They brought the owner home safely, and the next step was to return home alone.

Unlike first-tier cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen, Huizhou quiets down early at night, and public transportation usually stops at 10 pm. If the driver really receives a distant order, he may not be able to return home without a lot of trouble.

Mr. Li once sent a customer back to Shenzhen, where it was almost 3am. The driver’s fee was 240 yuan, and the customer tipped an extra 300 yuan. "The customer was worried that I wouldn’t be able to go home, so he asked me to stay in Shenzhen for one night before leaving." Unwilling to spend the money, Li Dawei rode an electric car to find a driver-sharing point in Shenzhen, and spent dozens of yuan to return to Huizhou.

However, not all neighboring cities have such carpooling points, like Dongguan. If he receives an order to Dongguan, Ah Bin often stays up all night. Because the driving platform Guanhui Network can also take orders in Dongguan, he roams the streets all night. If he is really tired, he finds an Internet cafe to pass the time and waits for a ride back to Huizhou at dawn.

Only at the moment of receiving the order will the driver know their destination, and they have no right to refuse. Every time an order is received, it is like a lottery draw. When luck is bad, there may be far orders in nooks and crannies, and the round-trip process becomes "difficult".

At the beginning of last month, A Jun, a full-time driver, received such an order, covering a distance of 70 to 80 kilometers from Huicheng District to Boluoyuanzhou Town. When A Jun delivered the customer to the community, it was already more than 4 am, and the farthest range of the folding electric car was only 70 kilometers, so he couldn’t return home for a while. A Jun simply chatted with the security guard of the community until dawn before taking the bus back to Huicheng.

About a week ago, Forrest Gump also encountered "misfortune" on his way home. The journey from Huicheng District to Huidong Shili Silver Beach was nearly 70 kilometers, and it was already 4 am when he arrived. Forrest Gump originally planned to go to Tamsui from Baihua Avenue to carpool, but he mistakenly turned the navigation into a cycling mode, and the route was full of mountain roads without passing through Tamsui.

Gump grew up in the countryside and was not afraid of riding in the mountains in the early morning, but he was afraid of dogs. The little local dogs along the way chased him all the way for two kilometers. Looking back now, Gump still has lingering fears. That morning, Gump rode his electric car slowly and took about 5 hours to return to his home in Gutangao.

The house was rented by Forrest Gump. The house they bought in Zhongkai was only handed over last month, and they had to pay off the mortgage of more than 3,000 yuan every month. On the 27th of this month, Forrest Gump’s wife was due to give birth, and their second child was about to be born. As a father and husband, Forrest Gump had a heavier burden on his shoulders.

"Driving a driver is a transitional job, and I still need to find a job with social security in the future." Forrest Gump thought that it would be a good choice to drive in a regular logistics company like SF Express or become a professional electrician in the future. However, both positions require corresponding qualifications, and Forrest Gump has not yet obtained them.

Forrest Gump likes a freer career. He doesn’t want to enter the factory anymore and works like a "photocopier" every day. "Young people have been doing substitute driving for a long time, and people have become lazy, and they have become less and less combat and willpower." Forrest Gump is trapped in his comfort zone and can’t take the first step. But he also knows clearly that this is not his way back. Daughter suffering from "king of childhood cancer" 32-year-old mother runs more than 700 orders a month

The road seems to have no end. More than 30 communities and 60 or 70 businesses are densely packed in almost 28 square kilometers of land. In more than a month as a delivery worker, Zhang Ning shuttled back and forth between these communities and businesses more than 850 times, running 3,190 kilometers. In 31 days in July, she sent out 770 orders, but still did not dare to stop to catch her breath.

If the e-bike doesn’t stop, there is hope for her daughter’s life to continue. In March 2017, Zhang Ning’s eldest daughter, Xuan Xuan, was diagnosed with neuroblastoma, a disease known as the "king of childhood cancer" that quickly overwhelmed her family. The 32-year-old mother has tried online fundraising and kneeling on the street for help, and now pins almost all her hopes on the road to deliver food.

When her daughter was diagnosed, she often asked the doctor, "Is it possible to cure this disease?" Later, she became more and more silent, asking only "what effect can be achieved." Treatment of neuroblastoma requires radiation, chemotherapy and stem cell transplantation, and the survival rate can be improved from 30% to 60% to 80%. And that all requires money.

In order to treat their children, she and her husband quit their jobs and traveled from their hometown of Xinji, Hebei to Beijing, Shanghai and Tianjin. The family sold out of donkeys, sheep and almost everything valuable. In just a year and a half, 700,000 yuan was spent, and now they still owe 300,000 yuan in foreign debt.

In May of this year, the child was going to have a second stem cell transplant operation at Tianjin Cancer Hospital, and the family rented a house next to the hospital. Life was very tight, and the rent of 1,600 yuan was almost impossible to come up with. Zhang Ning decided to give the child to the grandmother, and her husband would go to deliver takeout to earn money to support the family and pay off the debt. "Because this job is more flexible, my daughter can rush back at any time when she has the situation."

Zhang Ning turned on the order receiving system at 9 am every day, and she was ready to leave home at any time with the "beep" sound of successful order receiving. Busy from 9 am to 10 pm every day, she can earn at least 5,000-6,000 yuan a month. Sometimes, this is not enough for Xuan Xuan to spend a day in the transplant warehouse.

The asphalt road in summer is steaming hot and can "spread eggs". Zhang Ning is always fully armed, his thin body is covered in a larger rider’s suit, and the two work clothes are rotated every day. The blue helmet is pressed against a short hair that is ear-length. The skin exposed to the clothes is tanned, and the lips are not wet due to long-term sun exposure. Only the pink hello kitty sunshade gloves on the handlebars of the electric bicycle reveal her love of beauty.

As the only daughter in her family, as a child, she used to feel angry that her father favored boys over girls and gave her farm work to her instead of her brother. She secretly vowed not to do manual labor in the future. After graduating from high school, she studied haircutting, jewelry, beading, braiding, and partnered with friends to open a nail salon.

After her daughter was born, she pinned similar hopes on the child. Since the birth of Xuanxuan, Zhang Ning has taken more than 1,000 photos of her, taught her to read, write, draw, roller skate, and braided her waist-length hair. After receiving treatment, Xuanxuan’s body became thinner and thinner, and her hair fell out one by one. Zhang Ning secretly cut the child’s hair short in the middle of the night and braided the rest into strands of small dreadlocks. After the small dreadlocks also fell off, Zhang Ning bought her daughter pink shoes in red, fearing that she would be "recognized as a boy".

But Zhang Ning couldn’t stop herself from becoming less and less like a woman. In the past, she had long black hair and thick bangs, "in order to look young". To accompany her daughter in the transplant warehouse, her hair was getting shorter and shorter. In the past, she wore light makeup on her face, but now she can "manage it for a day" by wearing a layer of sunscreen when she goes out.

After 2 pm, when the order was less, Zhang Ning could temporarily go home to rest, eat some "sesame oil wrapped in rolls", and swallow it with rice porridge or plain water. When she ran outside, she could go without drinking water for two or three hours in a row. Until she was free, she went to buy 1.5 liters of mineral water and poured more than half a bottle in one go.

Sometimes there is a heavy rainstorm, the water on the street reaches her knees, and the car has to be delivered as soon as the order comes. Several colleagues’ batteries have malfunctioned due to soaking in water, and she is glad that her car is relatively new and "holds on". It was just a sudden heavy rain, and she did not have a poncho. She also fell on the side of the road because of a slippery tire, and she could not get up by herself. Fortunately, she was supported by a passing taxi driver.

The wind, the sun, the rain, she took these as interesting news to tell her children. But in the interview, the most she said to the reporter was "I don’t know how I survived it."

She has been cheated of money, desperate, and even thought of death. Last year, her father was diagnosed with cancer, and her mother broke her leg. She went back to her hometown to take care of her parents. Her husband’s bank card was defrauded by a wire fraud of 50,000 yuan, which was the last amount of money for her daughter’s treatment. They went to report the case, but were told by the police that there was little hope of recovery. She cried a lot, and she was about to go out in the middle of the night. Her mother held her hand tightly, so she woke up and decided to "continue to live, live day by day".

Before her child’s illness, she had never been to a big city. After going there, she found that the cancer hospitals and children’s hospitals in these cities were full, and they had to wait for half a month for a bed. She had seen some children who were calling "Auntie" yesterday and disappeared the next day, and she had also seen countless families like her family. In the patient group, they talked less about money, "because each has its own way."

She heard that there was a "city" couple who relied on their "powerful connections" to easily raise hundreds of thousands of yuan; there was also a young father who spent every day on the live broadcast software, interacting with the boss to attract fans and tips, and also made a lot of money.

She thought of various ways to raise money. She tried water drop fundraising, but the people who forwarded donations were all relatives and friends. "The money has been borrowed all over the place", and finally raised more than 100,000 yuan.

Before entering the transplant warehouse for the second time, she had brought Xuan Xuan to kneel on the sidewalk next to the children’s hospital and begged. Some children stopped and were pulled away by adults. The money received was also 1 yuan and 50 cents, and she could only raise 100 or 200 yuan a day.

"As long as I can save my daughter, I can do anything," she told reporters.

When she first started running takeout, she was afraid of being complained because she would be deducted money. She was not good at finding her way, and it was difficult for her to distinguish between "east, west, north and south" when customers told her. From day to night, some street lights were dim, and she was also frightened by people burning paper money on street corners.

But in order to make money, Zhang Ning ran most of the time. Whether it was dozens of bottles of drinks or two large watermelons weighing more than 10 catties, she went upstairs without saying a word. Guests lived on more than ten floors, and she couldn’t wait for the elevator, so she took two steps and made one step, arriving before the elevator.

She joked that these strengths were "developed by holding children." Every time Xuanxuan finished surgery, she had no strength, so she and her husband could only take turns carrying her. After her daughter got sick, she even learned to give injections.

After two stem cell transplants and a course of chemotherapy, 7-year-old Xuan Xuan looked much thinner than her peers. Her slender arms and legs were like bamboo poles, and her hair-shedding head stood out even more. The stem cell reinfusion caused her body to turn black, and the summer skirt could not cover the huge scar on her chest.

With less and less money on hand, after the second transplant operation, although Xuanxuan’s blood pressure was not completely stable, Zhang Ning’s family discussed with the doctor and decided to let the child be discharged early and go to the hospital for examination every day. She heard that there are more advanced immunotherapy, and when she heard that at least 500,000 yuan started, she felt helpless.

Zhang Ning never wrote this worry on her face. When the customer who ordered the food opened the door with a small crack, she would pass the takeaway with a smile on her face and say "I wish you a happy meal"; when she met some familiar customers, she would also take the initiative to greet, "Hello Auntie, I meet you again."

Only when Zhang Ning left, these guests would receive a text message: "Hello, I am the food deliveryman who delivered the takeout to you just now, and I am also the mother of a tumor baby. If it’s ok, please help me click on the very high praise (super praise). Each super praise will give me an additional reward of 30 cents. Thank you for your love and encouragement. There must be something wrong with the delivery. I will try my best to improve and complete each order with all my heart!"

Zhang Shilun, the head of Zhang Ning’s takeaway station, told reporters that he only discovered Zhang Ning’s difficulties later. He remembered that Zhang Ning looked anxious when he came to the interview, but did not disclose his situation, "maybe because he was afraid that I had concerns." He admitted that he did worry, "after all, this is a high-risk job." This is the first female rider he has recruited since running the site.

Zhang Shilun said that in this food delivery station, there are big men from northeast China who have been laid off from oil companies, and college students who have failed to start their own businesses and turned to food delivery. In his opinion, "the Internet saves a group of people."

In the past July, Zhang Ning ran a total of more than 700 orders. In a few days, the number of completed orders also topped their site list, and the number of praise also ranked first.

Zhang Ning could only take his daughter’s food to the cancer hospital during the delivery period. The transplant warehouse only had a window close to the ground for patients’ families to deliver meals, and the daily visiting time was only three times in the morning, middle and evening. A patient in the same hospital remembered that Zhang Ning came and went in a hurry every time, and had to leave in a hurry as soon as he put the lunch box in the window.

Only when collecting the lunch box did Zhang Ning have time to stop, call his daughter through the glass of the visitation window, give her a thumbs up, and sign a victory gesture. Sometimes it was a little wrong, and the entrance to the visitation window was already closed. The daughter could only talk to her on mobile phone video, shouting to her aggrieved "bad mother, don’t come to see me", she apologized to her daughter, but she still couldn’t be on time next time.

Like other 7-year-old children, Xuanxuan’s wish when she grows up is to "be a model", and she also loves to act coquettishly. Sometimes she complains that her mother is always controlling her, not allowing her to eat ice cream, nor letting her watch cartoons on her mobile phone for too long. Zhang Ning sometimes doesn’t know whether to laugh or cry, saying to her daughter, "You will cost tens of thousands of yuan to eat an ice cream now." "When you grow up, I will no longer care about you."

Xuanxuan still showed maturity that children of the same age did not have. Although she did not know what disease she had until now, she was able to run to the hospital blood test place with ease, proudly pointing at the test sheet and saying to her mother, "My platelets have increased." Whenever it rained, she would call to tell her mother "don’t go out and run." When she called, as long as she heard the wind, she knew that Zhang Ning was riding an electric bicycle and hung up immediately.

The child’s peers had already entered primary school, and Xuan Xuan could only stay in a 10-square-meter transplant warehouse or rental room. Apart from her relatives, she could only accompany her with cartoons on her mobile phone. She used to love singing children’s songs with her children, but now when she returned home every day, she was so tired that she fell down as soon as she touched the bed, and she didn’t even have the strength to hold the child.

When she felt that she couldn’t hold on, Zhang Ning flipped through the previous photos and videos. At that time, she loved to laugh and take pictures. The family of three went to the park and swimming pool together, and life was not so gray.

Before Xuanxuan’s illness, she was skating. Not long ago, Zhang Ning also posted a small video. Xuanxuan was wearing two balls with red ribbons, a small purple sweater skirt, and a pair of roller skates. She rushed from a distance like a gust of wind, swept past her, blinked at the camera, and slid into the distance. That was the video recorded in February 2017, less than a month after Xuanxuan was diagnosed with neuroblastoma.

In early 2018, 7-year-old Xuan Xuan made a New Year’s wish. Seeing that some children’s parents did not want them because they were sick, she "hoped that everyone would love Xuan Xuan", knowing that "it cost a lot of money to see a doctor, and she hopes to earn it back when she grows up". She also wants to go to school, botanical gardens, and take a ship on the sea. But Zhang Ning only wishes that her daughter will be healthy in the future and have more hope of living.

At present, Xuanxuan’s condition can be said to be "basically clinically cured, as long as it is reviewed on time."

For Zhang Ning, it’s not over yet. "Children bear the pain, but adults have to bear more."

Only when driving on an electric bicycle on the road did she feel a moment of freedom. Although her fingers were calloused by the long-term grip on the rotating handle, and her shoulders were also sore from the long-term tightness. When her daughter first fell ill, she couldn’t sleep all night. Now the psychological burden has finally been converted into physical fatigue, and the long-lost sleep has been exchanged.

She still didn’t dare to relax any day. Many delivery workers like to gallop after nightfall because the roads are clear and the breeze is cool. But Zhang Ning thought about it and said that she still likes noon and evening the most, which is the busiest time. "There are many orders," which also means that she is closer to the future she promised her children.

In the National Day file in 2020, Buyi Detective also conducted an all-round Amway for the National Day file blockbuster, and the live ticket sales were 20,000 seconds. At the time of the release, the detective story of Buyi had a live dialogue with the director, and the content of the dialogue quickly became a hot topic in Tik Tok. Through this dialogue, more Tik Tok audiences learned the story behind Above the Cliff.

In this "Movie Enjoyment Plan" of Tik Tok, these creators will also interpret and recommend various word-of-mouth masterpieces in a brand-new way, so that the word-of-mouth masterpieces can be fermented through the "Movie Enjoyment Plan".

"Movie Enjoyment Plan" helps the development of high-quality content. Tik Tok makes movies more temperature-sensitive.

Since the beginning of this year, Tik Tok has successively created activities such as "Tik Tok invites you to watch a movie, and 400 million movie benefits are free", "May 1 movie viewing plan", "June 1 child’s heart plan" and "Tik Tok summer movie viewing guide" to provide users with movie viewing benefits and help the market box office continue to rise. This time, through the "Film Enjoyment Plan", Tik Tok will also expand its perspective to excellent works of public praise, broaden the content of high-quality movies, and further explore the possibility and creativity of Tik Tok in movies, so as to bring users closer to the content of high-quality movies with "depth, temperature and attitude".

Tik Tok’s "Movie Enjoyment Plan" will also set up an exclusive activity aggregation page in Tik Tok Station to aggregate high-quality content, so that users will have a better chance to participate in and learn about excellent films. It is hoped that with the daily users in Tik Tok exceeding 600 million, the high-quality small and medium-sized masterpieces that were easily overlooked in the past will have the opportunity to be seen and known by more people through Tik Tok.

All along, Tik Tok hopes to provide his own energy for good directors and good works, constantly help and achieve mutual success, and realize the continuous output of more and better content. Since 2017, Tik Tok, with its unique entertainment genes and short video attributes, has influenced the film marketing ecology of China, and gradually guided and promoted the film ecology of interactive symbiosis among creators, content and interested users, becoming an important part of the film industry.

But Tik Tok has been thinking about doing more for movies. Tik Tok’s "Film Enjoyment Plan" is also a brand-new entry point for Tik Tok to embrace high-quality film content. In the future, Tik Tok will explore the possibility of cooperation with the film industry in more dimensions, and will increase cooperation with film institutions and filmmakers with a more open attitude to explore more high-quality films with temperature, attitude and depth, so that these high-quality films can be seen by more people.

What Tik Tok has done is not only self-consistent with the film, but based on the characteristics of the film itself, starting from the content, trying to "record a good life" as much as possible, so that the film can return to high quality and Tik Tok can record a good life.
